April 2024 Guild Meeting

The Guild Meeting for April 23, 2024 will feature Quilt Divas and the Blockhead 2 Quilt Reveal

Presentation by Quilt Divas. This is an opportunity to learn a tip or technique from our sister quilters. There will be a station for each Quilt Diva and we will rotate through the stations giving you a chance to see each Quilt Diva presentation. Our tentative schedule for Quilt Divas includes the following: Barb McVean – Stitch and Flip Corners; Cindy Marn – Ribbon Flower Pillow; Betsy Truex-Powell – Big Stitch Hand Quilting; Cassi Baumann – EPP; Gayle Vargo – EPP and Judy Sagara – Quilting tips

Mary Hoffman will lead us for the Blockhead 2 Quilt Reveal. Last year Mary led a group of dedicated quilters through the piecing of Moda Blockhead 2 blocks, free on the Moda website. The overall quilt was divided into 4 quadrants and enabled quilters to make some or all quadrants. A huge thank you to Mary for leading this project and her dedication to making handouts and her wonderful presentations that helped us complete this project. You will want to see these quilts! Quilters will present either a flimsy (pieced quilt) or a completed quilt (sandwiched, quilted and bound).
