The Laughing Ewe Quilt Shop

The Laughing Ewe Quilt shop is a brick & mortar shop located just outside of the historic part of Canal Winchester off State Route 33.  The shop is owned and operated by a husband and wife team, Terri Brown and Carl Luckeydoo- funny last name isn’t it?

Terri was raised on a small farm with a strong work ethic that taught her “idle hands are a devil’s workshop.”  With that wisdom, in 1986, her Aunt fired her passion for quilting by teaching her how to hand piece and hand quilt on a stationary quilting frame.  She also introduced her to the world of Jinny Beyer and “the sky is the only limit” can-do attitude.

Now, fast forward, The Laughing Ewe Quilt shop was born from a mere dream.  Here, we offer many fabrics, books, threads patterns, kits, notions, classes, and longarm quilting service.   We also provide bolt wool hand dyed and scrap wool. The hand dyed wool is uniquely dyed by Terri at her home.

Ample parking is also available on both side entrances of the building.  Parking includes handicap spaces and the building is also wheelchair accessible

The  longarm quilting service for your completed quilt tops located on site.  The quilting on done by Terri on a computerized Gammill Statler Stitcher long arm quilting machine.  The long arm frame is fourteen feet long which is long enough to accommodate a huge size quilt.  However, we do not commission quilts or construct custom made quilts.
